Black Hills

Back in early July we were on our way across the country and stopped in the Black Hills and Custer State Park.  The bike trails in the park were great - Rails to Trails Mickelson Trail is 100+ miles. The trail includes old tunnels to ride through.  The temperatures were in the high 90s but the humidity was less than the southeast.   We mostly rode bikes in the Black Hills.  There was an area in the Black Hills called the Pinnacles that was fantastic rock formations and narrow tunnels through the rock.  Some of our photos are below.


The only wildlife we saw in the park were Buffalo.
