Koh Tao means sea turtle island. The snorkeling was good but the coral reefs were bleached out dead. It must have been beautiful at one time. We stayed at Koh Tao Resort on a quiet beach on the south of the island. We met some British military guys who were on the Military soccer team and traveled a lot with the team, but were just on holiday in Thailand. Sometime during our time on Koh Tao Obama visited Thailand and Burma so it was all over the news and people wanted to talk about it with us. We found a really good coffee shop where we started ending the day with chocolate and cappuccino.
